STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES

IGeneX is committed to providing innovative, state-of-the-art clinical testing with unquestionable ethics and integrity. Special emphasis is placed on the individual needs of each health care provider and each patient.

SKILLED AND CARING CUSTOMER SERVICE
Each health care provider or patient is treated with respect, dignity and courtesy. Every effort is made by the dedicated Customer Service Department staff to address issues and concerns of our health care providers and patients. Any issues that cannot be addressed by the Customer Service Department are forwarded, as necessary, to the appropriate scientific or medical staff member. A prompt response is provided by the appropriate staff member to all inquiries. In addition, health care providers and patients are offered assistance throughout the testing process.

INTEGRITY AND HONESTY
IGeneX upholds rigorous standards of conduct, with patient confidentiality being of the utmost concern. We comply strictly with all local and federal rules, laws and regulations which govern our laboratory and we are continuously implementing new guidelines appropriate for our business.

QUALITY TESTING
IGeneX places special emphasis on quality. We strive to offer the most sensitive and specific tests available to the Lyme community. Our laboratory is regularly inspected and recertified to perform high complexity testing. To further monitor our effectiveness, we have frequent inspections by outside consultants who were former state and federal laboratory inspectors or laboratory directors.

COMMITMENT TO RESEARCH
While it is not a law or a requirement, we are committed to reinvesting at least 20% of our annual revenue into research and development of new and enhanced tests. Our research staff, under the supervision of our Laboratory Director, is constantly adding new tests that are better than those commercially available.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
IGeneX management is dedicated to contributing both financial and personal resources to the Lyme community: i.e. Patient support groups, ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Disease Society), health care provider training and community seminars to name a few. We believe that educating both the professional community and the patient population is the key to controlling and ultimately eradicating these diseases. We firmly believe that no individual should be left undiagnosed or untreated for any reason.
